Just wanted to share my skincare progress. I am 39F and started using retinol early this year for my deep forehead wrinkles. They’re still there but much less severe! I use Paula’s Choice 0.3% Retinol + 2% Bakuchiol Treatment and the PC Barrier Repair moisturizer with retinol (low %) every other night, alternating with an AHA or BHA. I recently started using the PC 1% retinol too but am introducing it slowly due to redness and flaking.
Other products in my routine:
PC Optimal Results Cleanser
PC Advanced Replenishing Toner (alternate with Sahajan Balancing Toner)
Your improvement in skincare is amazing! It’s evident that the combination of retinol, Bakuchiol, and other targeted therapies is effective for you, as seen by the noticeable reduction in your forehead wrinkles. You follow a thorough routine that carefully balances hydration and exfoliation. Maintain your excellent job and use SPF to preserve your skin!
hi beautiful people, my saloonist and beauty therapist advises saying,
consult with your dermatologist to determine if retinol is suitable for you. they can assist you in developing a skincare regimen that incorporates retinol and suggest the appropriate strength and formulation based on your skin type.
That’s fantastic progress! It sounds like your retinol routine is really working for your forehead wrinkles. It’s great that you’re introducing the stronger 1% retinol slowly to avoid irritation. Thanks for sharing your experience! It’s inspiring for others considering using retinol. Keep up the good skincare routine!
