I’ve been looking into those facial rollers with metal spikes that cost around $20 each. The thing is, you have to keep replacing them, which can get pretty expensive. Do they even work? It seems like you’re just puncturing your skin and creating more pores.
Has anyone tried them, and if so, what are your thoughts? Are they worth the investment?
This! I started massaging my face because it was a great way to unwind after spending the entire workday staring at a dumb computer. Although I wouldn’t look into this as a treatment, I do think some people use them for wrinkles and fine lines, but I don’t think these work for that. You might see some improvement with a good moisturizer + rolling.
I don’t think it’s a miracle worker, but it sure does feel nice! I got one from a BoxyCharm ( I don’t think I’d personally spend the money on it). I’ve been using it most days when I remember because it says it can help your skincare products sink into the skin. I guess my skin has been looking good but not anything too far from normal. The coldness (from metal ones or if you stick it in the fridge) will help with depuffing, though for me the change is very subtle. It’s fun to use and feels good, but I’d say the results are extremely subtle.
