Is there a big difference between these and something like The Ordinary?
It’s my understanding that topical collagen is not ideal so that one might be worth skipping.
I’d be interested to learn how they stabilize their vitamin C/ what concentration it is, but for $6 I imagine it’s probably not very strong.
6$ for HA is solid, ingredients seem inoffensive.
Niacinamide is relatively inexpensive too, and may be a good grab for the price if you’re not sensitive to it.
I’m amused by their attempt to copy the branding of The Ordinary.
Vitamin C is a super good ingredient to add to your routine - but so many sources of it don’t have good stabilization/ oxidize super quickly and become ineffective. To my knowledge, it’s not known to have a bunch of potential negative side effects like retinoids, so you may not need to be scared! I like the brightening I get from it when I have a serum with a good concentration.
I have been wanting to try it because my skin has been kinda dull lately!
Collagen is a wonderful humectant.
Huh, I’ve never seen these before. I’d be interested to know too
Right! If these work it would be a game changer. I’ve had good experience using DIME Beauty HA but it’s expensive!
I like the Walgreens unscented water gel moisturizer, which I layer with my tret. It’s worth a try!
lol, why did they make the packaging so much like the ordinary?
B/c they’re The Ordinary dupes.
TBH TO already looks like generic store brand packaging. One grey rectangle is all it takes
I would just settle for the ordinary’s products tbh
The ingredients list looks nice, glycerin HA betaine and allantoin

Thank you for answering! I have no idea what I’m looking for in an ingredients list
Jen Phelps did a video on these on YT, comparing the ingredients, etc. You might watch that and see what she says.
Oooh thank you, this is like the exact info I want
Collagen would be a waste of money because it can’t penetrate the skin.
Collagen is not a waste just because it cannot penetrate the skin. It works on the surface of the skin as a humectant and would repairer. It’s one of the best hydrators out there. And it can give the appearance of smoother skin.
There are many ingredients that don’t penetrate the skin but are still useful. HYA is one.
I wish this myth would die.
It looks like a decent HYA. Thank you for posting the ingredients.
