Basic Minimalist Routine?

Hi everyone. I’m looking for a basic minimalist routine to follow for AM and PM. I’m 19f and have combination skin (oily, acne prone, sensitive). I’ve got acne scars/pigmentation, blackheads and or sebus filaments on my nose, fungal or bacterial acne on my forehead along with some variation in pimples on my face.

The products I currently have in my possession are the Cerave acne foaming cleanser, daytime sunscreen/moisturizer and night time moisturizer, Clear Start fizz mask, The Ordinary 2% salicylic acid serum and OLEHENRIKSEN balance toner (green bottle). For years I’ve been using JUST the Cerave acne foaming cleanser but it’s obviously not enough. I’ve avoided just putting stuff on my face because I’m not sure what the correct way to apply it is.

SO :clap: I was wondering if anybody who knows their stuff about skincare could help me out! I’d be forever grateful. Also, I’m hoping to add in my Clear Start Fizz mask, salicylic acid, and my nighttime and daytime cerave moisturizers. So if anyone has any advice on that I’m all ears! Especially if I should NOT use all of those or should rotate, etc. lol hence the reason for my post. I have no idea how to apply what or when.

Thanks :pray:t2: :pleading_face::pray:t2:

hi, so the basic routine is AM wash your face and then put on sunscreen and PM wash your face (double cleanse if you wear makeup) and then use a moisturizer. The products that you add then need to target a specific disturbance. I think that a retinol serum would help you perfectly like the cerave retinol resurfacing serum

Hello there,

It appears that you could be searching for information on sebaceous filaments or blackheads. Have you read our wiki about sebaceous filaments and blackheads?
Please report this comment so my handlers can remove it if you find that I am responding to something that is not relevant (such as something that is mentioned in a routine). Salutations!
