Cystic acne and post acne marks

The first photos are from December 2019

The second photos are from today

My skin type is normal, and my skin concerns used to be cystic acne and post-acne marks, but now I am focused on fading remaining post-acne marks as well as overall brightness and glow. The active acne was mostly cleared from the hormonal balancing of going on metformin and surprisingly being pregnant and giving birth to my beautiful baby boy.

Here is my morning and evening routine:

Morning;

First aid beauty daily facial radiance pads (REVIEW: this has been a go-to for years. Easy to use, not too abrasive as to prevent daily use but still effective) Dr. Ceuracle vegan kombucha tea essence Timeless Vitamin C serum 20% Cerave daily moisturizer spf 30 Laneige lip glow balm (REVIEW: i much prefer this to the Laneige lip mask. the way it smooths out my lip lines and adds a beautiful glow without being sticky like a lip gloss far supasses the mask. plus i just got the holiday candy cane flavor and its so nice) (Would love an eye cream recommendation)

Night: Tatcha camélia cleansing oil Tatcha thé matcha cleanser Paula’s Choice 2% salicylic acid toner Dr coracle kombucha essence (REVIEW: you’ll notice that I use this morning and evening, and that’s because I find it so plumping. it truly boosts the efficacy of any serum and moisturizer I apply on top, and is easy to purchase on Amazon Prime) The ordinary multi-peptide serum Tatcha the dewy cream La Neige Lip Glow Balm

Beautiful!! Your skin looks amazing and you’re glowing! I highly recommend Kiehl’s avocado eye cream. Congrats on your baby boy!!

What do you love about it? And thank you :pray:t2:

Omg you give me faith HAHAHA

You look straight out of an Elizabeth the First portrait lol

Hi! Thank you for sharing! Your skin is glowing!

What do you think helped the most with fading marks? My post-acne marks are the thing that gives me the most hassle :sob:

Thank you! I would say in order of efficacy

  1. Time. Boring I know but true
  2. Vitamin C serum, I noticed results immediately and long-term
  3. Aha/exfoliation. Any toner or serum with glycolic, lactic, or mandelic acid will do great for resurfacing
  4. Sunscreen to prevent them from getting darker/ worse

Omg, congratulations!:clap:t2::clap:t2::clap:t2: I am so jealous!!

Amazing!!! For an eye cream, I highly recommend the Beauty of Joseon Eye Serum (it’s more of a cream but whatever haha), it has an encapsulated retinal in it so it 100% won’t dry you out or anything, first and foremost a hydrating and depuffing serum, that has a splash of a retinoid, perfectly safe for eye area :blue_heart:

Wow, what a glow-up! You’re gorgeous, like a feline elf from a fantasy illustration :purple_heart:

Beautiful in both but ethereal in your after. You are skin goals!
