Does anyone here use the natural sunscreen for faces?

Specifically, does the SPF burn your eyes and is it strong enough for daily use? Every sunscreen I have ever used has burned my eyes within an hour, no matter how hard I attempt to set it with powder. I have had terrible troubles with this. willing to consider suggestions for other brands. Since I’m famously horrible at stocking up, I’d prefer something I can stroll into Target or Ulta and buy anyway. Korean companies that are only available online are not very accessible to me. Whitecast doesn’t bother me because I am ghostly; all I want is to have comfortable eyes for once :upside_down_face:

Pipette baby mineral SPF 50

I bought it over the summer, and I wouldn’t repurchase. The pros are that it didn’t sting my eyes and had a nice matte finish. However, it was extremely drying even on humid days, and had a tendency to pill if I tried to reapply later in the day, even though it was on a makeup free face. The bottle also broke towards the end, the pump broke off so it was no longer usable.

If you don’t mind paying the hefty price, the only Target face sunscreen I like is the La Roche Posay Anthelios Mineral Zinc Oxide Sunscreen SPF 50. $36.99 for 1.7oz and it’s hard to find the non-tinted version in stores, but it wears beautifully under makeup. If you’re willing to order online, the Elta MD UV Pure SPF 47 is $32.00 for 4oz on DermStore, and you can get it for $25.60 if you set up auto replenish. Neither formula bothers my sensitive eyes.

I never put it under my eyes, but I know that it probably contains some type of alcohol that I would not like rubbing there. However, it feels smooth, isn’t sticky, no white-cast, and doesn’t glow too much, unlike other sunscreens. Also, it lasts around 2 hours

I have not tried this but mineral sunscreens in general seem to be more tolerable around the eyes for most people.

This should be sufficient for every day use as long as you apply the adequate amount so around 1/4 tsp for the face

This looks nice, but the benzyl alcohol is kind of a no for me. It’s still a pretty stripped-down ss, and if benzyl alcohol doesn’t bother you, I’d give it a go. It has Avocado oil too, which feels very nice on the skin. Are you gonna try it?
