Can gua sha really do all the amazing things people say? I’ve seen lots of pictures showing big changes before and after. Have you tried it? Any tips or stories to share?

Guasha will not have any long-term effects on your facial structure. It will not carve out a jawline or cheekbones for you. But, I will mention that it helps with face massage, which is beneficial to your skin. Not only does it relax you, but it also gets the blood flowing in your face and can offer you some temporary’slimming’ effects due to lymphatic drainage. I wouldn’t call it a useless tool, but I wouldn’t expect to see any significant results from utilising it!
With my best friend, I undertook a 30-day Gua Sha challenge. We used the Gua Sha in upward motions and applied a few drops of essential oil to our faces. In essence, it serves to enhance facial circulation, and applying pressure downward aids in lymphatic drainage. It has been demonstrated to give our faces structure and form.
