First Aid Beauty ultra repair cream

This moisturizer turned out to be the worst for my sensitive and acne-prone skin. It used to be my go-to for years, but about a year ago, it started causing breakouts. My skin, which was always pretty good, became more sensitive after I turned 22. Despite cutting dairy from my diet and simplifying my routine, I didn’t realize this moisturizer was the culprit. Two and a half weeks ago, I stopped using it, and my skin improved dramatically. Now, I use Vanicream (the one in the tub), which hydrates my skin well, unlike the previous one. Despite being a bit heavy, it absorbs nicely and works even in humid conditions. I’m puzzled how this product is marketed as suitable for sensitive skin, especially for people with eczema.

I purchased this a few weeks ago and when I opened it, I was dissatisfied. It was thin, not gel-like, and had a sparkling essence; it seemed as though the product had separated. I tried mixing it with a spoon, but it still looked the same.
They are definitely lying about some things.

This moisturizer is the only one that helps with both my eczema symptoms and preventing acne flare-ups.

I doubt that, it frustrated me last year

I was looking for someone who had a similar experience. I used this product a few years ago and loved it. I didn’t have acne-prone skin then. I recently bought it again, and now my skin has large pimples under the skin and whiteheads. It took me months to realize that this product was the problem!

That your go-to moisturizer proved to be troublesome is regrettable. The appropriate product might be difficult to locate, and skin sensitivities can change over time. The efficacy of Vanicream for skin that is sensitive is encouraging. Always conduct a patch test before using new products, and see a dermatologist for suggestions specific to your skin type.
