Has anyone successfully treated athlete's foot?

For over 10 years, I have been battling a stubborn case of foot fungus. Tried various topical medications and oral antifungals, but haven’t been able to shake it completely.

I’m looking for a dermatologist with a good track record in treating chronic fungal infections.

In the meantime, I would love to hear from anyone who has successfully eradicated foot fungus. I haven’t seen any discussions on this topic in this community, so I figured I’d ask!

Also, has anyone out there completely kicked foot fungus?

Hey, it’s summer and that means that it’s the best time to treat athlete’s foot. My main tip would be to wear open shoes whenever possible. It’s the best natural treatment for athlete’s foot.

I had a mild case in junior high with peeling between my toes. I didn’t use any treatments; I just improved my foot hygiene, and it cleared up on its own. What’s your foot hygiene routine like?

Indeed.

I used Daktarin spray and cream (miconazole nitrate, 20 mg/g).

Cream: in the morning and the evening, twice a day.

Spray: sprayed socks, shoes, and occasionally feet.

Wash every sock you own at 60 degrees Celsius or higher.

Shoes and socks that are dry

Particularly after taking a shower, make sure to dry your feet between your toes. I had a laborer paper with me.

Use Stridex Red (2% Salicylic Acid) to clean your feet and between your toes.

Wash your feet and in between your toes with caution in the shower.

Put on breathable socks and shoes. Remove your shoes while at work, if you can. Wear thin socks or go barefoot if you can when you’re at home.

Or something similar. It took roughly two to three weeks.
