I Turn Blue When I Apply Sunscreen -Sun Care-

Hello guys. I want to preface this post by saying that this is not a joke, and every time I bring this up, people look at me like I have three eyes. I bought a sunscreen called Cetaphil recently. I have never used sunscreen before, by the way. When I applied it to my face, I turned blue and waited hours, but it never changed back, so I washed it off.

Does anyone know what the hell is going on? Also, any recommendations for NORMAL sunscreen? You can also tell me if there is something I’m not doing right. I’m pretty confused, and I’m using sunscreen to get my original skin tone back.

Whoa, that’s wild🤯 Sometimes, it’s just a reaction to certain ingredients in the sunscreen. You might be applying too much, or it’s just not the right formula for your skin. I’d recommend switching to a mineral sunscreen like La Roche-Posay or Neutrogena—super gentle and no blue face! Just apply a thin layer and see how it goes. Hang in there, your original skin tone will come back💪

A dermatologist can diagnose the problem and suggest the right treatment. Consider alternatives like mineral sunscreens with fewer chemicals, such as those with zinc oxide or titanium dioxide.
