Is it worthwhile to purchase Tatcha water cream?

Have it and personally don’t recommend it, it’s a good moisturizer however is not worth the money! I like to use Neutrogena’s Hydroboost Water Gel and find it works a lot better and is also much more affordable as well as being able to find it in basically any pharmacy:))

Combo skin here. I think that if you have the money for it, it’s a good product. It’s very light but hydrating. It gives a nice glow while being dry to the touch. But if you think it’s too expensive for you, a lot of gel creams also feel nice.

Any chance you can get a sample and try it out first? I’ve used Tatcha indigo cream and rice polish exfoliator and they were both really lovely and made my skin feel smooth and happy, but I’ve moved on to cheaper products.

I don’t like it. Very silicone which turns into water (like droplets of water) when you rub it in. It does not provide any proper hydration. You’re better off with hyaluronic acid serum followed by a cream. Very expensive too.

No product over 50 USD is worth it, IMO. Skincare is used too fast. If you can’t reliably comfortably afford it at that monthly or so cost then you’re not going to benefit enough from it.

There are some things in that 35-45 range that might be worth it, but that’s steep for a lot of products.

I used up a whole tube once when I got it on sale. I felt fancy using it and the product was nice, but not nice enough to make me want to keep using it. So if you are interested in trying it one day as a luxury irregular purchase wait for a sale.

Get a sample if possible. I was sure I was going to like it but got the small set of a travel-size Deep Cleanse + Water Cream because I LOVE the cleanser, and the water cream broke me out so bad. I do not have sensitive skin except that if something is too thick it will break me out - and this did, badly, after only a few hours. :pensive: Ended up giving the rest to a friend who loves it, so it didn’t go to waste!

I prefer the Silk Cream but they sell mini size and even a moisturizer sample pack on your website if you want to try them.

It’s my second choice moisturizer after SkinCeuticals Triple Lipid. I’m bougie

Meh, I’ve had samples of this and the purple one. They are both great, but no matter how great they are I can’t spend that kind of money on skin care.
