Hi everyone, I’m looking for a lightweight moisturizer with SPF. My skintype is oily (but dehydrated). I’m currently using SoonJung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream, which I like very much! However, I tend to forget SPF often afterward, so I’m looking for a combined one. Does anyone have a good recommendation? Thanks!!
CeraVe Ultra-Light Moisturizing Lotion With SPF 30.
I have oily skin like you so I have acne-prone skin. I think you have acne-prone skin too. That product is so good for oily skin. I didn’t notice oil on my face after putting it on. Unless you are super obsessed with your skin. I am skin of color. I have been looking for a sunscreen that doesn’t make white cast. I don’t see any white cast. Again, I don’t know if it’s just my eyes again. It doesn’t also sting your eyes like other sunscreens.
- Doesn’t make greasy skin for oily face. Super light moisturizer which is very helpful for oily face.
- No white cast.
- Doesn’t sting your eyes.
- Affordable
What more do you need? Don’t look for everything does it all.
Try it out. Remember, you need to be consistent long-term to see the result.
Thanks! I’ll check it out
u/NoVolume8177 How much do you put on, I’ve just ordered this to use during the day, I’m outdoors a lot and this seems like a good fit for winter months for me.
Vanicream daily facial moisturizer. It’s more cosmetically elegant than the one in the tub. It’s been my HG for years and it’s affordable.
Their facial SPF is mineral-based - which is an awesome sunscreen. But it has a significant white cast and feels thick on the face. It’s not moisturizing it’s just a mineral layer to block the sun.
It’s great for its purpose but lightweight it is not.
Thanks for saying this! My brain skipped over the “with spf” part of the title for some reason. Yes their SPF is not lightweight.
Since I have oily skin as well and I tried almost 90% of SPFs here are my top picks (they’re all Korean because only Korean SPFs work for my skin):
- House Of Hur lightweight sun fluid
- Thank You Farmer Skin Relief spf
- Kaine green fit pro sun spf
- HaruHaru Wonder black rice airyfit spf
- Skin1004 haul cica water fit spf
- RoundLab birch juice spf
Also, I have extremely acne-prone skin, really oily plus dehydrated but these all work for me, House of Hur got the first place because it’s SO lightweight, doesn’t leave any white cast, works well on top of all my skincare is an amazing base for makeup! Hope this helps 🩷
Tinted moisturizer by TINTED. Love it, it’s a moisturizer SPF primer all in one, feels so lightweight, and doesn’t feel greasy like most SPF, also the Laroche Posay double repair or the oars+alps everyday moisturizer. I have oily/ dehydrated skin as well. I’ve been an Ulta employee for over 3 years and worked with several customers and estheticians I’m just not licensed but I LOVE skincare😁
Check out Beauty of Joseon sunscreen. It can replace your morning moisturizer
I have this one - totally agree. Absolutely cannot tell it’s spf
Nivea luminous for oily skin spf 50. Best one i have tried for medium sun exposure, for really greek sunny days i prefer the LRP or Isdin one.
I love the Skin 1004 Centella Sun Serum. It’s very light but also hydrating.
CeraVe Ultra-Light Moisturizing Lotion (SPF 30) is great!
It is for Normal to Oily skin and I liked it when I used it. I switched to something a bit more rich for the fall/winter months (already getting colder).
Korean sunscreen is the answer. Check out the Korean skincare sub here. I have several and love them, double duty very light moisturizer and awesome sun protection that you can’t tell is even there (not goopy or white, doesn’t sting my eyes or make my skin red etc). I was quite sure for awhile it wasn’t REALLY spf until I forgot my hat and got hot Phoenix Sun on me for about an hour and a half. My entire body burned …. Except my face. Not a spot of tan at all. So yeah it works! Game changer. It lets me actually follow guidance and wear sunscreen.
Drmtlgy universal tinted is amazing
