Trader Joe's Jojoba Oil is Cold Pressed

So at your local Trader Joe’s is a natural beauty section. I picked up a Jojoba Oil and started using it. However, I noticed it didn’t say it was cold-pressed. And from what I read online for facial oils it is best if they are labeled as cold pressed to ensure the purity of the product. I emailed Trader Joe’s, and about a week later a representative left this reply:

Thank you for contacting us with your inquiry. In response, while our Trader Joe’s Jojoba Oil does not claim the labeling, it is indeed cold-pressed, and there are absolutely no chemicals used in the processing. We do hope this information helps, and we thank you for shopping with us at Trader Joe’s.

Sincerely, Hazel Trader Joe’s Customer Relations

So despite the bottle not having the words “cold pressed” on it, Trader Joe does still claims it is cold pressed. Just a little FYI to you all.

If it helps I’ve used this as an oil cleanser and moisturizer for years and it’s great!!

It’s around $7 and it has been a LIFE SAVER for my skin the past two weeks! Bad allergic reaction and this is the only thing I’ve been able to put on my face to cleanse and moisturize that’s been healing my peeling skin.

Highly highly recommend it. I will continue using this forever, I can’t believe how wonderful it has been.

Thanks for doing the research! Love to know that it’s cold-pressed.

Can you use jojoba oil as a body moisturizer? And how does it feel compared to say coconut oil (I’ve only used that on my body)?

How much does this run at, at Trader Joes?
