Views on Is La Roche-Posay?

Hi, I have been struggling with acne for years and see a dermatologist once a month. Each visit involves a deep cleaning of my face.

While my acne has improved, my skin has become extremely dry, which my dermatologist says isn’t normal.

She prescribed some creams, but they made it worse. I have heard that La Roche-Posay has good products for acne-prone skin. Is this true? Does anyone have experience with this brand?

Yes, I adore LRP. I just recently switched from using their acne cleanser to their purifying cleanser. Their acne spot treatment didn’t work well for me because the benzoyl peroxide % was too low to noticeably improve my skin. Their sunscreen also appeals to me. Many folks adore using moisturizers. Numerous positive things have been said regarding their cicaplast Baume.

this isn’t me advertising, but I root for any products from La Roche-Posay. For your acne I recommend its salicylic acid skincare line. Its super effective. It helped clear my acne in less than a fortnight

Dealing with acne and dry skin can be challenging, and it’s understandable to seek effective skincare solutions. La Roche-Posay is highly regarded for its products designed for sensitive and acne-prone skin. Their formulations often include soothing and hydrating ingredients like thermal spring water and niacinamide, which can help balance skin hydration while addressing acne concerns. Many users with similar skin issues have reported positive experiences with La Roche-Posay products, noting improvements in acne without exacerbating dryness. However, individual responses to skincare products can vary, so it’s essential to perform a patch test and introduce new products gradually. Considering your dermatologist’s advice and possibly discussing specific La Roche-Posay options with them could help tailor a skincare regimen that addresses both your acne and dryness concerns effectively.
