The left one is in Japanese, the right one is in Chinese. Show the backs
The left one says made in Japan, and the right one didn’t say manufacture place but it’s marketed for Hong Kong
Careful with these, they can be drying on the skin.
huh! No wonder my skin felt less dry after switching. It also stung my eyes like hell but I loved how clean my skin felt lol
Yeah sencha FEELS great to use but it makes me flakey
I think the green on has licorice, which is supposed to be good for inflammation. But tbh this whole line kinda sucks and all of them are very drying. Need to use a low ph toner afterward.
They’re both the same thing. Left bottom アクネケア= Acne care. Right top: 四星期減少痘痘: Get rid of pimples in 4 weeks.
I’m using the medicated one. it’s drying. I don’t want to put it to waste so I’m still using the one I bought. but I’m never gonna buy it again ahaha
The Google Translate app can help here. If you take a picture the app can translate.
It seems they are both in the acne care line. The blue one has dipotassium glycyrrhizinate and the green one has chamomile. I think these are both meant to be soothing, anti-inflammatory ingredients usually added to moisturizers. I don’t know if there would be much effect in a cleanser.
My guess is the main difference might just be fragrance. They could be adjusting the formula in other ways to make it more moisturizing or perhaps gentler (I haven’t checked).
ETA:
The green one with chamomile seems to have salicylic acid in it (Google Translate app and this web page OLIVE YOUNG Global | Korea's No. 1 Health & Beauty Store ) so that would make it a cleanser with a chemical exfoliant.
I hate to ask but what is it for
Just use it once or twice a week; count it as an exfoliating day. I was using it when the breakout happened.
For daily, I’m using the darker blue/pink color from Senka. It works well for daily purposes.
If you find them drying, I like to use the tiniest bit, foam it up in my hands, and then wash my face with it. I’ve been using the blue (regular) one like that for a couple of years and it’s less drying than if you use more and apply directly to the face.
