Who has information on EOS Lip Balm Lawsuit?

Hey folks…

I’m looking for some info on the EOS lip balm lawsuit. What’s it about, and where does it stand now? Has there been any settlement? How’s it affecting users, and should I be worried if I’ve used it?

Any updates or advice would be awesome. Thanks a bunch…

Cronin says that just hours after using the balm, her lips felt like “sandpaper.” Even after reapplying the product, her lips didn’t smooth out and instead began to crack severely at the edges, leading to flaking and bleeding. The next day, according to the lawsuit, Cronin developed severe blisters and rashes around her lips and skin, which forced her to seek medical help. She says the condition lasted for 10 days and left her feeling “severely shocked and panicked.”

Her lawsuit also mentions that after posting photos of her condition on social media, she was contacted by many others who had similar experiences and health issues.

Despite these claims, EOS stands by its products.

I feel a bit doubtful about this. I have not seen any numbers from others who say EOS balms cause lots of damage. It sounds more like an allergic reaction to me, which is unfortunate but not usually a reason to sue (unless EOS didn’t list an ingredient). Maybe she’s hoping EOS will settle the case outside of court.

It is surprising that people are suing over an allergic reaction. Not every product works for everyone.
